Thematic Teaching
In thematic approach different areas of curriculum are linked to age-appropriate themes that reflect children’s interests, needs and skills. The theme based approach provides the teachers with opportunities to teach a range of skills and content by integrating Science, Engineering, Technology, Arts and Mathematics. The dynamic curriculum is presented with stimulating activities, materials and multi sensorial experiences. It lays a strong foundation for reading, writing, creativity and critical thinking. The themes further allow exploration and discovery of pre-primary learning concepts in a concrete and tangible way and makes children inquisitive about their surroundings.
Inquiry Based Learning
Children are born explorers, discoverers and inquisitive. They are curious to know and understand ‘Why’, ‘How’, ‘When’ behind each and every phenomenon that surrounds them. We tap this curiosity and turn it into knowledge through our well thought and well planned activities. Instead of telling them the facts we lead them towards exploration, discovery, investigation, observation, question and share their understanding and thoughts on the same. It develops thinking skills, problem solving skills, makes them keen observers and they learn to work on individuals and group basis.
Play Based learning
To make learning a joyful experience we use ‘Play’ as a primary tool in learning and development. We design games and activities to teach mathematics, language and literacy, understanding the world etc. and children learn while playing and adventuring in nature.
